Venturing out from Camp


Libby's is located on coastal Route 1A which leads through the beautiful Yorks. You will not have to drive because the Trolley makes regularly scheduled stops at Libby's from late June to Labor Day; just sit back and enjoy the scenery!




Route 1A north follows along the edge of Long Sands Beach and passes the turnoff to view Nubble Light, and the continues into York Beach Center. In the Beach Center, you'll find another fabulous sandy beach and an array of unique shops and restaurants offering a leisurely pace for visitors.

Nubble Light, one of Maine's most highly visited and photographed lighthouses, can also be seen from Libby's.


Route 1A south leads to the historic town of York. This scenic village with many churches, buildings and historical points of interest. Its harbor, lighthouses and beaches offer a picturesque coastline.

Boating, fishing, entertainment, amusements, and shopping centers are within easy traveling distance. The famous Kittery Outlet Malls are within a very easy traveling distance. Scenic historical Portsmouth, NH is also closeby.




Directions: Easy access off I-95. Take "The Yorks" exit 7. Then at Route 1 turn right and then left onto Route 1A. Follow signs through York Village along the ocean to Libby's. (Distance from I95 is less than 4 miles.)
